Support Bergman center

The Bergmancenter Foundation on Fårö has the task of preserving the public legacy of Ingmar Bergman, as stated in our statutes. It is a delicate responsibility to keep one of Sweden's and the world's most celebrated and renowned cultural names alive and relevant for both the knowledgeable and new audiences. We carry out this mission on Fårö, the place Ingmar Bergman chose as his own. We are a non-profit organization, and our revenues come from a mix of public funds and our own income. The latter comes from our exhibitions, our shop, film screenings, and other events like the annual festival, Bergman Week. Right now, all cultural institutions are struggling to make ends meet – funding is decreasing or stagnant, while costs are rising dramatically due to inflation. Bergmancenter is no exception. We are fighting to keep our operations afloat and gratefully welcome any contributions we can get. Feel free to make a small donation here – from the price of a movie ticket to something larger.
