Venice, 1800. What happens when an old-fashioned music school receives a newly invented musical instrument that everyone calls the "pianoforte"? Will it mark the beginning of freedom for the five young female musicians?

Italian musician Margherita Vicario’s debut film had its world premiere in competition at Berlin, where it quickly won the hearts of critics and audiences alike. The exuberant Gloria! The Miracle of Venice is described as "pure joy that begs to be shared with the largest possible audience on the biggest possible screen."
